Professor at Imperial College, Jonathan has an acclaimed academic career, spanning over 40 years. As well as a world-renowned clinician, he has written over 400 scientific research papers and chapters, 11 medical books and one book on law.
During his career he has had extensive business experience and has worked alongside the Government to set the medical agenda in the UK. He has also developed and led successful media campaigns and set up an All Party Parliamentary Group to improve cancer treatment and rationalise cancer research throughout the UK.
In 1996 he founded the charity, Prostate Cancer UK to build up awareness, patient support and research funding, actively supported by a wide number of high profile philanthropic donors. He has spearheaded its developments such that it is now the largest men’s healthcare charity in the UK, employing 180 people. As President and Trustee, he plays an active role in directing board activities to increase its regional, national and global reach.
Through Jonathan’s high profile and prestigious career, coupled with his extensive experience from an investor perspective in Prime Central London real estate, he is able to bring invaluable insight and guidance to the LCP/PrivateOffice board operations and to help formulate internal policies, strategies and objectives.
